Obama is our political Katrina

Why didn't I think of this sooner?

Barack Hussein Obama II, the alleged president of these United States, might be remembered as "the political storm of the century". In fact, some political scientists could regard him as "an extinction-level event" for our American way of life. The parallels between the Obama regime and Hurricane Katrina are astounding.

We were warned

Long before Katrina became a Category-5 storm, meteorologists warned that it could become one. They even accurately predicted the storm's track, well in advance of landfall. Warnings were issued. Warnings were repeated. Yet, many residents stayed in New Orleans and suffered terribly. Then, after the storm had passed, they blamed the same government for not warning them.

Long before Obama became an occupier of the White House (compare that word with "occupant"), there were astute political observers warning that he spelled trouble. Way back in 2004, one political stalwart -- Dr. Alan Keyes -- pulled up his residency from Baltimore and moved hundreds of miles to Chicago in order to challenge Obama for the open US Senate seat. If every voter in America that calls himself a conservative had sent Keyes only one dollar, then there would never have been a Senator Obama to be nominated as candidate Obama. But, after the alleged election of Obama, many of those same conservatives tried to blame Keyes and others for somehow causing Obama to allegedly win.

the devastation was far-reaching

Part of the reason that Katrina was so devastating was because residents ignored the warnings. Instead of literally fleeing for their lives, they took a "deer in the headlights" stance that ensured their injury. Then, knowing that looting was likely in the wake of the storm, many New Orleans residents voluntarily gave up their weapons to police that should've been hunting for looters instead of shaking down law-abiding citizens for their legally-owned weapons. People well outside of the New Orleans area were affected by Katrina. (I remember when the remnants of Katrina passed over Nashville, almost 500 miles from Katrina's landfall. It rained constantly for days.)

Part of what makes the Obama effect so devastating is that so many people ignored the warnings. And, after the car-dealership closings, and the brokerage-house bonuses, and the push-instead-of-pullout war policy, people just kept insisting that Obama would soon get his "sea legs" and start acting like an American president. (Some of us would be overjoyed if he would simply act like an American....) Knowing that more devastation would be on the way if they did not actively investigate his Constitutional eligibility, Congress instead chose the "deer in the headlights" approach, and voluntarily stood by and did nothing even in the face of active voter intimidation. (Obama's regime ordered the case against the Panthers to be dismissed.) Now, many of the people that put one hand on a voting lever and held the other hand out for Obama to fill it are realizing that they are stuck with a big handful of ... misery. And, because those people did not take appropriate action early on, we are now stuck with far-reaching foreign-policy problems, such as turning our collective back upon Israel. And, anyone that speaks out in a meaningful way against Obama could soon face his "civilian national-security force" (nicknamed the ObaMilitia), or have their Internet switch turned off.

some say that it was intentional

People on the political Left tried to blame President Bush for the government's alleged "inaction" regarding Hurricane Katrina. (The government issued weather warnings. That is their job. The job of the populace was to heed the warnings.) Some have gone so far as to claim (in total defiance of the facts) that Bush intentionally did not "help" people more in New Orleans because he was targeting poor, Black people. (What about all the poor White people that were hurt? What about all the wealthy Black people that lost homes and businesses?) Some on the Left and the Right claim that Hurricane Katrina was steered and/or intensified by high-tech weaponry such as the HAARP. Some claim that Katrina was manipulated by rogue elements of the United States government, while others claim that foreign governments did the dirty deed. If the allegations are true, then whoever steered Hurricane Katrina is ruthless beyond ordinary description.

Some people claim that Obama is the product of "grooming" for his current role. Some claim that his acts to undermine American principles and sovereignty arise from his Muslim background. Others claim that his anti-American activities are because of Communist mentors, such as Frank Marshall Davis. (As I've written for years, Communism and Islamo-fascism have the same goals.) Although he did not spend much time in his Kenyan birthplace, the culture seems to have influenced his pro-Left, anti-Christian politics. Regardless of whether Obama was steered by Islam, Communism, or a combination of the two, it has become obvious to anyone but a welfare addict that his devastation upon America has been intense and far-reaching. And, whoever steered Obama toward the White House is ruthless beyond ordinary description
